Multimeters, also known as multimeters, multiplexers, trimeters, and multimeters, are indispensable measuring instruments for power electronics and other departments. Generally, the main purpose is to measure voltage, current, and resistance. Multimeters are divided into pointer multimeters and digital multimeters according to the display mode. It is a multi-function, multi-range measuring instrument. Generally, multimeter can measure DC current, DC voltage, AC current, AC voltage, resistance and audio level, etc. Some can also measure AC current, capacitance, inductance and semiconductor Some parameters (such as β) and so on.
When a circuit of the Fluke multimeter produces a strange phenomenon, such as a disordered display, the capacitor bypass method can be used to determine the part of the circuit that is roughly faulty. Connect the capacitor across the power and ground terminals of the IC; connect the transistor circuit across the base input or collector output, and observe the impact on the fault phenomenon. If the bypass input terminal of the capacitor is invalid and the fault phenomenon disappears when bypassing its output terminal, it is determined that the fault appears in this stage of the circuit.
