When measuring, the dimensional fluctuation curve corresponding to the diameter and length and the calculated value of the workpiece taper are displayed. When the measurement data is within the set acceptable range, the data color of the measurement value is green; when the measurement value exceeds the set allowable range, the data color is red.
The working platform of the testing device is made of cast iron (the height of the working platform can be customized), the bottom of the platform is a bracket manufactured by welding of square pipes, and the two sides of the upper surface of the platform are finished surfaces. The clamping of the workpiece to be tested is centered clamping of the lathe center, and the center is installed on the fixed tailstock and the movable tailstock. The fixed tailstock is directly fixed on the work platform, and the movable tailstock is connected to the work platform through linear guides and sliders. The position of the movable tailstock can be adjusted according to the length of the workpiece, and it is locked and fixed after the adjustment is completed. Workpiece loading and unloading is done through a telescopic sleeve on the movable tailstock (same as the lathe tailstock mechanism).

The movement of the caliper is driven by a linear guide slide, and the drive motor is a servo motor. The measuring position of the caliper has manual and automatic adjustment functions. In the automatic mode, the caliper can realize the automatic adjustment of the measurement position according to the left and right moving distance set by the system software and the positioning of the stepper motor or servo motor. The caliper can realize the fine adjustment of the measurement position according to the real-time display position. The fine adjustment can be achieved by controlling the rotation of the servo motor by jog buttons, or by setting the walking direction and distance of the caliper by software.
