Working principle
The rotor material of the rotameter can be made of stainless steel, aluminum, bronze, etc.
According to the height of the metal tube float in the conical tube to measure the flow rate, the use of fluid through the gap between the float and the wall of the pressure difference to balance the weight of the float, the greater the flow rate, the higher the float is supported, so that it has a larger ring gap area, that is, the ring gap area changes with the flow rate, so it is generally called the area method. It is more used for the measurement of medium and small flow rates, and has the type of electrical or gas remote transmission transmitter.
Usage (Installation)
Sanitary metal tube rotameter installation needs to complete 12 steps.
1, before cleaning and installing the flow meter, be sure to clean up the welding slag and debris in the pipeline;
2, the vertical part of the calibration flowmeter perpendicular to the ground installation inclination shall not exceed 5°. Otherwise it will affect the measurement accuracy.
3. In order to ensure the measurement accuracy of the flowmeter, a straight pipe section of not less than 10xDN should be added to the inlet end of the flowmeter, and a straight pipe section of not less than 5×DN should be added to the outlet end. The control valve is installed in the downstream of the flowmeter during measurement.
4. If the measured medium is a large pulsating flow or two-phase flow, a buffer should be installed in the upstream of the flow meter to reduce the pulsation, to ensure that the flow of the medium is single-phase stable, and it is recommended that the flow meter use a damping type.
5, measuring medium When the measuring medium is dirty or contains magnetic conductive particles, it is recommended to install a filter or magnetic filter in the upstream of the flow meter.
6, the installation of the support flow meter should be able to properly support the vibration of the pipeline or reduce the axial load of the flow meter, otherwise the support of the fixed flow meter should be increased.
7, maintenance In order to facilitate the maintenance of the flow meter, the cleaning of the magnetic filter and the regular maintenance of the user pipeline, it is recommended to use the bypass pipe as shown in the figure.
8, stability When the flow meter is used for gas measurement, it should be ensured that the working pressure in the pipeline is not less than 5 times the pressure loss of the flow meter, so that the flow meter can stable and normal operation.
9, wiring to the electric remote transmission and the flow meter with alarm limit switch before use, open the instrument cover, according to the wiring diagram correct wiring.
10, stop parts according to the warning sign in the instrument indicator, remove the stop parts to prevent float vibration in transportation, and then use the instrument after recovery.
11, open the flow meter if the flow timing is opened, because there is no pressure in the pipeline or the system has not reached the normal working pressure of the instrument, slowly open the control valve, until the system is normal, the instrument can be used, otherwise it is easy to cause the pointer beating or the sudden impact of the float and damage the rose image.
12. When the user uses the user, if the density of the measured flow body is different from that of water, or the parameters and working state of the measured gas are different from those specified by the manufacturer, the flowmeter indication reading should be converted at the same time. The conversion method is in the appendix.
