Description
Wcb Cast Steel Class150 Motor Ball Valve is a sphere with a circular channel, which rotates around the axis perpendicular to the channel. The sphere rotates with the valve stem to achieve the purpose of opening and closing the channel. Ball valves can be tightly closed with only a 90 degree rotation and a small turning torque. According to the working conditions, different driving devices can be assembled to form various ball valves with different control methods, such as electric ball valves, pneumatic ball valves, hydraulic ball valves, and so on When the ball valve rotates 90 degrees, both the inlet and outlet should be spherical, thus closing the valve and cutting off the flow of the medium. The opening and closing part (ball) is a valve driven by the valve stem and rotates around the axis of the ball valve. It can also be used for fluid regulation and control, among which the metal sealed V-port ball valve has a strong shear force between its V-port core and the metal valve seat welded with hard alloy, especially suitable for media containing fibers, small solid particles, etc. The multi way ball valve can not only flexibly control the convergence, diversion, and flow direction switching of the medium on the pipeline, but also close any channel and connect the other two channels. This type of valve should generally be installed horizontally in pipelines. Ball valves are divided into pneumatic ball valves, electric ball valves, and manual ball valves according to their driving methods.
Installation
Indoor installation matters at the installation site
It is a non-explosion-proof product. Do not install it in a room with explosive gases. Please reserve space for incoming wires and manual operation.
Precautions for outdoor installation
Please install a protective cover, and make sure the wiring cover is tightly closed after wiring for safety precautions. Note: Direct sunlight will cause high temperatures inside the machine and accelerate the aging of components. Rainwater will accelerate the aging of seals, causing water seepage and damaging the machine.

Applications
Electric ball valves do not require manual operation, but intelligent operation. In the production process, the environment and site determine all factors. The electric ball valves used in high pressure, high temperature or low pressure, low temperature environments are different. The following points should be noted:
For low temperature and low pressure, the material does not need to be adjusted too much.
In the case of high pressure and high temperature, high temperature and high pressure resistant materials should be selected as the electric ball valve material, such as stainless steel and alloy, which can withstand high pressure and high temperature.
The internal parts of the electric ball valve need to be replaced to reduce damage to the valve core, which is also beneficial to the flow of the medium and avoids coking and clogging of the electric ball valve.
When the electric ball valve is opened, some vibration-avoiding machinery can be installed to prevent the internal structure of the electric ball valve core from being damaged when it is opened.
Ball valve types
1. Floating ball valve
The ball of the ball valve is floating. Under the action of medium pressure, the ball can produce a certain displacement and press tightly against the sealing surface of the outlet end to ensure the sealing of the outlet end.
The floating ball valve has a simple structure and good sealing performance, but all the load of the working medium on the ball is transferred to the outlet sealing ring. Therefore, it is necessary to consider whether the sealing ring material can withstand the working load of the ball medium. This structure is widely used in medium and low pressure ball valves.
2. Trunnion ball valve
The ball of the ball valve is trunnion and does not move when pressed. Trunnion ball and ball valves all have floating valve seats. After being subjected to medium pressure, the valve seat moves, causing the sealing ring to press tightly on the ball to ensure sealing. Bearings are usually installed on the upper and lower shafts of the ball, with small operating torque, and are suitable for high-pressure and large-diameter valves.
In order to reduce the operating torque of the ball valve and increase the availability of the seal, oil-sealed ball valves have appeared in recent years. Special lubricating oil is injected between the sealing surfaces to form an oil film, which enhances the sealing and reduces the operating torque, more suitable for high-pressure and large-diameter ball valves.
3. Resilient ball valve
The ball of the ball valve is resilient. The ball and valve seat sealing ring are both made of metal materials, and the sealing specific pressure is very large. According to the pressure of the medium itself, it cannot meet the sealing requirements, and external force must be applied. This kind of valve is suitable for high temperature and high pressure media.
The resilient sphere obtains elasticity by opening an resilient groove at the lower end of the inner wall of the sphere. When closing the channel, use the wedge-shaped head of the valve stem to expand the ball and compress the valve seat to achieve a seal. Loosen the wedge-shaped head before turning the ball, and the ball will return to its original shape, leaving a small gap between the ball and the valve seat, which can reduce friction on the sealing surface and operating torque.
Structural principles
The ball valve is not restricted by the installation direction, and the flow direction of the medium can be arbitrary. The fluid resistance is small, and the full-bore ball valve has basically no flow resistance.
The ball valve has a simple structure, is relatively small in size, light in weight, and easy to maintain.
It is easy to maintain. The ball valve has a simple structure and the sealing ring is generally movable, making it easy to disassemble and replace.
It has a wide range of applications, with diameters ranging from a few millimeters to several meters, and can be applied from high vacuum to high pressure.
Types and classifications
A ball valve is a valve with a ball as a closing member. It is mainly composed of a valve body, a valve seat, a ball, a valve stem, a handle (or other driving devices, such as electric actuators, pneumatic actuators or hydraulic actuators). The valve stem drives and rotates around the axis of the ball valve. It is mainly used to cut off, distribute and change the flow direction of the medium in the pipeline.
There are many types of ball valves, including different working principles, media used, and application locations. Users should choose different types of ball valves according to the working conditions. The types of ball valves are classified according to the actual working conditions on site.
Installation of ball valve
1. Make sure that the pipelines and valves have been cleaned before operation.
2. The actuator operation of the valve drives the valve stem to rotate based on the size of the input signal: when it rotates 1/4 turn (900) in the forward direction, the valve is closed. When rotated 1/4 turn (900) in the opposite direction, the valve opens.
3. When the actuator direction indicator arrow is parallel to the pipeline, the valve is open; when the arrow is perpendicular to the pipeline, the valve is closed.
